The picture shows the position of the planets and signs of the zodiac at the time and place of my niece Tabitha's birth. Sorry for the poor quality, the original is A2, and I only have an A4 scanner to hand, it has also suffered from a lack of waterproof ink
The view is of Cambridge, looking south. Ely is bottom left. Tabitha was born at sunrise, with the sun rising in Capricorn. Mercury the planet of communication and Pluto the cartoon dog ascending in Capricorn (center left of the picture). Venus, planet of love was also in Capricorn (Botticelli painted her better than I could) Capricorn is a mysterious beast, half goat and half fish. It’s a very ancient symbol which no one really understands. Whatever it means, she has a lot of it!
Going clockwise, Saturn (Father Time) is in Scorpio the scorpion. The moon and Mars (the planet of war) are in Libra the scales. I’ve included the constellation of the hydra in the top right to fill in an uninteresting corner of the horoscope (Cancer the crab is a minor actor in the legend of the hydra). Jupiter is in Cancer. Jupiter is the thunder god, known variously as Thor, Perun, Zeus, Indra etc. In China he is called Lei Gong. Lei Gong wields a mace or hammer, has red hair, a fierce, hawk like face and rides a unicycle (some kind of fiery wheel anyway 
). I based my picture of him on a painting from the Ming dynasty. By Jove, that Thunder god gets around! Struggling as ever to find a good image for Uranus, I’ve drawn his Hindu equivalent Waruna, who rides a strange beast that looks a lot like a mock turtle to me . He is in Aries, the sign of the golden ram. Neptune, God of the sea is in Pisces the fishes. I’ve marked positive aspects with red lines and negative ones with blue.
