Robin Hood's Bay

I had the idea for this when I realised that Ulysses, Dionyssus and Robin Hood were all tied to the masts of ships, a kind of crucifixion I think (Robin Hood's Bay is in the north east of England, Robin Hood allegedly went there once and got a job as a fisherman - long story). While I was working on this the Stranglers song 'Golden Brown' came on the radio "...every time, just like the last, on her ship, tied to the mast". I later discovered that Turner had painted a picture with some similarities to this one. Turner claimed to have sketched while tied to the mast of a ship in a storm. Synchronicity, huh?
